Pheasant Oak Vineyard is on a 200 acre farm just outside Brainard, Nebraska. The farm is part of the original settlement of the area and dates back to the early 1860’s. James Brown moved from Tennessee/Missouri to homestead the land. The farmhouse is the original house built in 1865 which Gary and Kathy are lovingly restoring to its beautiful southern style. When Kari moved to Nebraska she wanted to renovate the school house that was on the property, unfortunately it was to far gone so she built a replica of it with help from her contractor who was a student at the school until 6th grade when it closed.
